Based in Sydney, Australia, Culture Bridal Couture is a dedicated team of highly skilled artisans and experienced couture seamstresses, headed by designer and owner Lisa Merton. Inspired by diverse cultures, magnificent fabrics and colour, our original label Culture Shock has evolved over the years to encapsulate our favourite wedding dress styles– Grecian, Vintage, French Lace, Romantic, Oriental and Indian inspired looks.

Our wedding gown designs feature rare and exceptional textiles from around the world, including vintage Japanese Kimonos and Obis, exquisite Indian Saris and delicate European laces, combined with luxurious silks in the colours of your choice. Perfect fit, comfort and immaculate quality are the foundations of our success, and we pride ourselves on our friendly service, attention to detail and a relaxed, happy atmosphere.

Every Culture Bridal Couture wedding dress is individually designed and hand-crafted in our Sydney studio, with several personal fittings including a calico toile to ensure the most flattering proportions and a fabulous fit. We need a minimum of 4- 6 months, and our Couture wedding gowns range from approx AUD $3,500 to $6,500.
